Many years will come after the last woman has spoken. Women will have to talk of her death, but will she give a good description before the end of the month?

A few years ago, the answer was probably yes.

Sara McLean spoke to an Australian media outlet of the last known woman to die who was murdered. Her voice seemed broken in the silence. It might have been one of the most emotionally traumatic experiences I have ever had.

"I told her I would tell her about what's happened to me, but it wasn't because I liked her enough," said McLean, who lost her son to HIV in 2005. "It was because she was a little bit of a coward. If she didn't love me enough, my life would change."

But now, with this last survivor's voice in the background, she is thinking of her future. So she has started a Go Fund Me page to help her in her efforts. One page says it "will go where no other woman has gone before, and the money will go on the same way."

So she plans to raise the money to fund her next effort, and says she will be watching to see if other women will continue to speak out about what they have been through at the hands of sex criminals.

She says that by supporting the page, she has increased awareness of many crimes committed against women and girls in Australia.
